The Editors
Husband and Wife writing duo, Kevin and Samantha, are the chief editing team at O2 Haiku Literary Magazine.
Based out of Tacoma, Washington, U.S.A., O2 Haiku features poets from around the world.
With their varied writing backgrounds, the editors at O2 welcome pieces from diverse writers. Feel free to read a bit about us, and learn more about what we are looking for, and see if O2 Haiku is the place for you!
The couple continues to write from the Pacific Northwest, a place of poetic beauty itself, where they live with their child.
Samantha Pardo Irigoyen
Writing since she was 13 years old, Samantha has always tried to capture both the beauty and struggle of the world around her. The countless scribbled down journals are testament to her endeavours.
Her writings have been published with The Heron’s Nest, Akitsu Quarterly, The Dewdrop, Under the Basho, Blithe Spirit, Wales Haiku Journal, Presence and countless others. Various publications such as Autumn Sky Poetry Daily, Lothlorien Poetry Journal, Beyond Words Literary Magazine, Cathexis Northwest Press also host her work; with a piece of her work forthcoming with Creative Colloquy. She served as a judge for Poetry Pea Journal and Podcast, and currently works as an editor for the same.
When not writing, Samantha is into all things fantastical. She loves being whisked away on mystical literary adventures. She wants to see pieces that make her soar above the clouds. She is also looking for pieces of struggle and perseverance, inspired by her Grandmother’s own plight from Cuba. There is beauty in the balance of life.
